my story
We all have a story and it defines who we are, what we do, how we treat others, etc. My story is a combination of success and failure, acceptance and rejection, adventure, taking chances and getting on a plane often, wrapped in a thirst to read, learn and understand. I appreciate others may not have the same thirst to learn and explore like me, so this blog is my way of sharing a small part of what I found so you can benefit from my time investment. I hope you enjoy and learn something along the way.

Extraordinary Experiences
Out of Grad School I moved to NYC not knowing a soul. I finally found a good job (definitionally a balance of the great and terrible) and worked long hours; hence my belief in Work Hard, Play Harder. I discovered the mindset of “chasing the story” which had me volunteer for pretty much any adventure and led to some amazing or weird experiences.
I left NYC in 2002 and took a year off to travel the world. I traveled with friends in some countries and by myself in others. As you read this blog you will quickly see no one is really a stranger to me for very long and there aren’t many questions I am afraid to ask. My life is a collection of experiences and all of those involve the folks I met along the way.
I worked on Wall Street, at large and small private companies, and even the federal government. The culture in each of those is so different and they have shaped my perspective. Now, I am a business consultant and coach / mentor, trying to use my various experiences to help others run faster and jump higher.
